MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He's made major inroads globally to Latin pop. His 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu was winner of the Colombian Kids Choice Award for the most popular Song in 2017. The year 2017 saw the release of ADN the first of his long-players to La Industria Inc. in Medellin. This album peaked at 8 places on the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca was a Top Five hit for Ozuna and him the year after. Mala Influencia is made available in 2020 by Noriel and her Dopamina album that year. Then in 2021 he sang a duet on TINI's streaming smash single Maldita Foto. The 2023 album of 2000 which featured the smash hit La Bachata. Turizo was raised in an musical family. His younger brother and his mother are each musicians. According to him, musicality was a mandatory part of his life. In his early years, he learned to play the saxophone and ukulele and piano. At first, he wanted to become Veterinarian, however after his brother Julian convinced to him take singing lessons from the help of a Cuban singer, he altered his career plans.
