Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew growing up in Mexico with a family that was passionate about music. The music she grew up with was classic, old boleros as well as classic romantic songs and the Ranchero style. Ana loves tangos, operas and other dramatic performances. At the age 16, she began singing and learning music with her mum. Flavio, a Mexican famous tenor, started to give her more intense vocal instruction. Her music training continued in the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Then, she enrolled in an institution called the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. The beginning of her professional career was spent performing with various opera choruses, chamber groups in Guadalajara. She was a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to Southern California. She's a regular solo performer at events, private parties and other occasions, performing the traditional Latin American Music. Ana is involved in a variety of local initiatives in both teaching and performer, because of her enthusiasm for art and music. Ana was a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands (as as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana is a fan of the traditional Latin American songs and hopes to encourage other people to follow in her footsteps.
